Over the years, I’ve worked with the good folks at Sockeye in Portland to sound design and mix a wide range of Adidas content for web, broadcast, and internal deliverables - these are just a few public-facing examples.

I’ve worked on several series of ads and web content series for Danner Boots with my friends at Brother Films, doing everything from overall sound aesthetic brainstorming to sfx and mix to VO recording. Here are just a few examples of the work we’ve done

As an avid runner, it was an absolute joy to work on this film by Tylor Wolter. I know you’re just browsing my portfolio, but seriously - sit down and watch this all the way through when you get the chance. It’s pretty rare that I have tears in my eyes while working on mix projects, but the back final section of this was an exception.

Over the last 5 or 6 years, I’ve worked with my friends at Mew Studios to create commercials, animated explainers, and business advice films featuring famous entrepreneurs for Amazon - I’ve lost count at this point, but I believe I’ve worked on over 100 videos for them. Here are a few examples - in all cases, I did sound effects, dialouge/VO sweetening, and final mix, and in some cases I was also the composer.

One of the coolest projects I’ve gotten to be involved with - my friends at Sockeye here in Portland did an amazing job on this collection of broadcast and web commercial films and in the end, I got to mix and sound design over 20 of them as well as a Cannes festival entry summing them up. The campaign ended up winning industry awards, was referred to by Forbes as “a blueprint for authentic representation”, and gave me a first - watching TV in New Jersey with my in-laws and having a commercial I mixed and sound designed come on. Here are a few of them.

A PDX-based agency was working with Quibi (R.I.P.) a couple years ago on some of their original content, and I got to do a bunch of Punk’d reboot trailer and teaser mixes. I was only provided with the music and the dialogue clips - I added all sound design and environmental foley and did the final mix for multiple delivery formats.

I love this type of parody/homage project - the only direction here was “make it sound like Ken Burns’ ‘The Civil War’”. Shout out to Juliet Zulu and the great actors involved in making this hilarious.

This travel/reality series was a blast to work on - it's always fun to have a pretty even mix between placing selective foley/environmental sounds and creative cinematic sound design elements, and the wide range of location and voiceover recording quality makes the editing and sweetening of the dialogue an interesting challenge.
